About Us

‘Abacus Blinds’ was established in 1992 and began trading from premises in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow. We have since moved , in 2001, to our present location as we required larger premises.

We operate both in the domestic market and the contract market, counting among our clients, companies such as Tulloch Construction, Miller Construction, British Rail, as well as numerous Local Authorities.

We have great expertise in supplying blinds to private homes as well as offices, schools, hospitals etc.

Our factory showroom is open Monday to Thursday from 9.00am until 4.00pm, Friday from 9.00am until 2.00pm.
 
We began as, and have remained, a family business, offering our customers a very personal service and we feel that it has been this philosophy that has led to our success. We have always been happy to take that ‘extra step’ for our customers, so ensuring that we continue to build a very solid reputation within the window blind industry. More than 70% of our business comes from ‘word of mouth’ customers.

We have built up a great knowledge of the industry, and are always on the lookout for new ideas and new products, so keeping us at the head of the field.
